In the world of mechanical engineering and high-performance applications, component reliability is essential. Getecno introduces a new generation of RFR/RMR series rolling Rodobal bearings, designed in accordance with DIN 648K ‘wide series’ dimensional standards and featuring an innovative rolling coupling with double ball crown.
This solution significantly improves efficiency compared to traditional sliding joints, ensuring high performance in areas such as motorsport, boating, aviation and precision industrial mechanics.

Advanced Rolling-Based Construction

Unlike conventional systems, where coupling occurs through sliding between spherical surfaces, the new Rodobal components integrate steel balls as rolling elements between the inner ring and the head.
This design drastically reduces contact points and, consequently, friction, wear and detachment moments. The result? Quick starts, smooth movements and high performance even in the presence of repeated dynamic cycles.
Thanks to the reduced contact surface and optimised load distribution, these components also allow high rotation speeds, comparable to rolling oscillating bearings, increasing efficiency in advanced kinematic systems.

Ideal Applications and Operating Limits

Rolling Rodobal bearings are the preferred solution in applications where rapid movements, precision, dynamic performance and low friction are required. They are particularly suitable for:
• high-speed actuation systems
• kinematic mechanisms for motorsport and racing
• lightweight aeronautical mechanisms
• movements in technical boating
• precision industrial machinery

However, they are not recommended in the presence of high static loads, shocks or intense vibrations. In such conditions, for maximum durability, it is preferable to use sliding joint heads, which are able to distribute stresses more effectively.

• Quenched and tempered steel head with lapped surfaces
• Anti-corrosion treatments: galvanising and external chrome plating
• Long-life pre-lubrication, with the possibility of re-lubrication via grease nipples
• Stainless steel side seals for protection against impurities
• Operating range from -45°C to +120°C
• Guaranteed radial clearance 10–30 μm
• Available with internal (RFR) or external (RMR) threading, also left-hand (RFRL / RMRL versions)
• Sizes available from M6 to M30
