Technical description
RODOFLEX® couplings consist of a stainless steel or high-performance metallic bellows element joined to hub connections designed for secure shaft clamping. The bellows acts as the flexible element of the system, allowing controlled compensation of angular, radial, and axial misalignment while maintaining high torsional rigidity.
The absence of mechanical clearances ensures zero-backlash operation, which is essential in precision motion control applications.
Thanks to their lightweight construction and optimized geometry, RODOFLEX® couplings achieve a favorable torque-to-mass ratio and low moment of inertia, supporting high-speed operation and rapid acceleration/deceleration cycles.
The design ensures stable performance even under frequent reversing motion and high dynamic loads. In addition to the standard range, customized versions can be developed for specific application requirements, including special geometries, materials, and connection interfaces.
