RODOSET® units are height-adjustable spacers used to support and align mechanical components while allowing controlled vertical positioning.
They are designed to replace traditional adjustment systems such as shim stacks, threaded brackets, or custom support structures, providing a standardized and repeatable solution for machine installation and alignment.
Height adjustment is achieved by rotating the upper element using a hook wrench, enabling precise positioning while maintaining full structural stability under load.
Technical description
RODOSET® units are manufactured from high-strength 42CrMo4 alloy steel, ensuring excellent mechanical strength and resistance to axial loads.
The threaded adjustment system is pre-lubricated, allowing smooth and reliable adjustment even after long-term installation and preventing seizure effects over time. Surface protection is provided by zinc plating for standard environments, while stainless steel versions in AISI 303 and AISI 316 are available for corrosive or hygiene-critical applications.
The range includes multiple configurations designed for different installation requirements, including:
- standard levelling units (RDU series)
- pre-settable or low height (RDUK / RDUL series)
- self-aligning washes for alignement compensation (RDWS series)
- integrated self-aligning top versions (RDUS series)
Certain configurations allow compensation of angular misalignment up to approximately 4°, enabling installation even between non-parallel mounting surfaces.
The fine-pitch threaded system ensures both a wide adjustment range and high positioning accuracy, while maintaining predictable and repeatable mechanical behavior under load.
